Eric Milton of the Minnesota Twins has suffered a broken ankle that will keep him out the rest of the regular season and throughout the playoffs. Milton was leading the AL with 18 wins, so this will be a huge lose for the Twins. The Twins are currently ahead of the Cleveland Indians by one game for the AL Central lead. Eric Milton said, "It is very disappointing, even more because we are getting ready for the playoffs." Brad Radke and the other Twins starters will have to step it up if they want to make a push in the playoffs.

I feel your pain. I lost Kelvim Escobar for the ALDS and for the first half of the (not jinxing getting there) ALCS.

Yeah, trading a 21 year old Johan Santana and a young Torii Hunter was a mistake. :-(

Yeah, trading a 21 year old Johan Santana and a young Torii Hunter was a mistake. :-( Which is another reason i think it is really impressive how well his team is doing without Santana and Hunter

I lost 93 overall Andy Benes, 2nd in the majors in ERA for the season and probably his career since he's an 82 now, so at least be thankful that your pitchers are still useful.

yeah, I've been pretty injury free all season and this was probably the one guy i could least afford to lose, but that stuff happens. Yeah, I could use Johann right now, but overall I am very happy with that trade.
