SP Rosado, Jose 83 90 $2,250,000 1 25 No CF Hunter, Torii 86 93 $207,000 Arb '02 24 No SP D'Amico, Jeff 65 76 $10,900 Arb '03 25 No RP Snyder, Kyle 63 79 $6,500 Arb '03 22 No RP Mullen, Scott 63 79 $10,900 Arb '03 25 No
for
SP Westbrook, Jake 75 87 $8,200 Arb '03 22 No RF Matthews, Gary 75 81 $207,000 Arb '02 25 No SP Nation, Joey 67 88 $6,500 Arb '03 21 No 1B Greenberg, Adam 66 86 $6,500 Arb '03 19 No RP Cruz, Juan 69 85 $6,500 Arb '03 21 No
And so continues the master plan. Shed millions over the next few years while aquiring Westbrook who will be Rosado in talent when I am ready to push for the playoffs. Matthews, serviceable, Nation Greenberg and Cruz the real prizes that fit in with age group of other recently aquired prospects. Sweeney, Suppan and Damon still all available for the right blend of major league fodder and high ceiling guys.

I accept, it's basically what he said he's getting high young ceiling talent and I"m getting a swap of Westbrook and Rosado which I like Rosado because he's young and a lefty to compliment Sabathia. Hunter will become my RF, which will mean I'm shopping Sheffield. D'Amico and Snyder and Mullen are all throw in's to equal out losing Greenberg/Nation/Cruz numbers wise anyways.
