CHICAGO INCOMING:McGowan, Dustin SP 19 77 93 $11,900 Arb '04 81 Rollins, Jimmy SS 22 86 92 $226,000 Arb '03 92 Duckworth, Brandon SP 25 70 84 $8,900 Arb '04 65 PHILLY INCOMING:Sheffield, Gary LF 32 90 90 $3,400,000 1 81 Loretta, Mark SS 29 87 87 $2,950,000 3 82 Mullen, Scott RP 26 75 83 $11,900 Arb '04 82 $7 million (This is to help pay for Sheffield's extension) I accept. I have some surplus of SP prospects so McGowan could easily go. Rollins is a good player but he's "not the right guy for the system". Now I can finally sleep knowing I have a good OFer to backup Abreu and Burrell Good luck to both Rollins and McGowan in Chicago

Word, this came down to wanting a young SS, I got him, now I have a pretty legit infield and can slide Uggla to 3B lol, but anyways I get a solid SS, but give up one, and I like McGowan for the future, and Sheff was just taking up too much $$.. good luck to Sheff daddy & Loretta the money like he said was to stiffen the blow

Veto.
Philly is being demolished in this trade. Rollins alone should be enough for Sheffield.

Veto. Philly is being demolished in this trade. Rollins alone should be enough for Sheffield. wut I'm aware that Rollins is younger and has a better peak than Loretta, but Rollins isn't my type of player. I'm trying to build my team around OBP and HR's, so a speedy player that's average at getting on base won't be as effective as they should be. Loretta may not be as fast, but he's great at getting on base and will fill my hole at leadoff. Ratings aren't everything. A 90 that compliments the whole lineup is better than a 95 that doesn't fit with the team at all, but that's just my preference. And I think you're underrating Sheffield a bit as well. He has some of the best vitals you could ask for: 90 contact, 89 power, and 94 eye. He's also having a great year so far: .964 OPS. What's Rollins'? .690

Veto. Philly is being demolished in this trade. Rollins alone should be enough for Sheffield. Not every trade is going to be dead even you fucking jew. This is more than fair, you need to stop being a fucking shitty ass trade mod. If everybody else acted like a prick like you do in trades, then you'd have a helluva lot better of a team cause we'd have denied every trade you lost (which is everyone you've made) but it's at least reasonable, doesn't have to be dead even. that is some serious Haterade
