The Minnesota Twins have lost third baseman Corey Koskie and cather A.j. Pierzynski for quite some time. Koskie suffered a broken wrist and will be out for the entire season. Pierzynski broke his fibula and will be out for about 4 months. Part time players Russ Davis and Mike Matheny will have to be inserted into the starting lineup while these guys are out. Davis will have to start at third and Matheny will be behind the plate for the Twins. The Twins do have depth at both of these positions so the team is hoping the other guys pick their game up and will still have a good chance of winning the AL Central. The White Sox have overtaken the Twins by a 1/2 game for the division lead at the moment. The first series of the next sims matches these two teams for a 3 game series at the dome.
