You clearly have no idea how this works. It is 30% of all revenue from all teams. Every team puts 30% into the pot. Then the total is divided by 30 and given back to the teams. In the Marlins case you put 1 mill in and get 4 mill back making 3 mill. Noone ever loses 70 million. 6 or 7 would be the most possible. If 30% is taken, then its spread equally, there is no way the yanks woul get enough beack to only lose 7 million

i like this. the rich teams can stay rich but at least the smaller (revenue wise) teams can compete. personally, i think 20 or 30%, those figures would make a difference. just my 2 pence
